In her popular ‘World of Hand Work’ feature in this issue, Hikaru interviews French fabric figurative creator and textile designer Odile Bailloeul in Paris. Odile started out as a textile designer and then branched out to become an author of needlework and craft books. Recently, her mouse miniature figures in domestic or natural settings have been very popular.
