Quilts Japan Autumn October 2014 Issue now on sale

In this issue, Hikaru writes about one of the leading British contemporary quilts artists, Diana Harrison.

During her visit to Diana’s studio in London, Hikaru discovered Diana’s amazing collection of inspiring objects, like battered cardboard, rusty tins and flotsam picked up on the beach. Diana has the gift and the eye to find beauty in those objects and to turn that inspiration into creative art work using very basic fabrics, dyes, stitching and bleach. Just simple and incredibly deep like ocean waves.
